My name is Alex Wafula, I am currently a 1st year Bachelor of Business Information and Technology student at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya.

I started contributing to Wikipedia late last year in a challenge organized by Google and Wiki media. The challenge (| Kiswahili Wikipedia Challenge) was held in Kenya and Tanzania. I translated several English articles to Swahili and also authored some in Swahili.

I've now started venturing into authoring English articles and other programs ran by the Wiki media Foundation. Attending this year's Wiki mania will be great for me since it will help in gaining more info on what Wiki media is all about and I also hope to attain basic introductions on programs it supports.
