Streaming
Live streamings of the sessions were provided through iStream.
Recordings will be available after the conference under CC-BY-SA on Wikimedia Commons. We will link the talks in the schedule with the corresponding Ogg/Theora files.
Streaming statistics according to iStream:
- 09-07-2010 - 3258 connections from 789 different IP addresses
- 10-07-2010 - 3111 connections from 856 different IP addresses
- 11-07-2010 - 2329 connections from 569 different IP addresses
Each channel was watched non stop by average number of 20-30 concurrently machines.
- During the concert: 137 connections (However, the organizers were informed that in Japan live streaming was watched on the big screen by dozens of users).
- During Jimmy Wales' presentation & panel: 168 connections
Recording files reached 2TB in volume. They are currently being converted & compressed to OGG.
