Please Note:
I was the Manager of Trust & Safety at the Wikimedia Foundation, though my work on this username is in my capacity as a volunteer and should be treated as such. While I was a volunteer for many years before my work with the Foundation I started with them officially on August 17th, 2010. Unless otherwise stated, any edit to this wiki by me with this account is an act of a regular member of the community and administrator, not a legal or official action of the Wikimedia Foundation.
Certain actions on this username may be referenced with an OTRS number: if that's the case, please do me the courtesy of checking with me before reverting or changing.
Official acts by me in the line of my work will be done from my office account, User:Jalexander-WMF.

About me:
I'm a 30 something Wikimedian who has been on the projects for almost 10 years. Before starting to work for the foundation I focused on cross-wiki vandalism and abuse as a volunteer as well as working on the volunteer response team answering emails and phone messages sent in from the public. In the course of that work I gained the communities confidence enough to be elected as an Administrator on this wiki and others as well as a Global administrator. Now I diddle around (both logged in and logged out) fixing articles and fighting vandalism as I have time.
If you want to know more about me I've written more on my Other user page (staff) or feel free to email me!
