- Abstract
- This presentation analyze the way in which Argentinian university students try to apply collaborative knowledge and the way traditional education (and teachers) inhibit these practices. The research conducted with Social Science students at the University of Buenos Aires shows how they try to put in practice collaborative mechanisms when creating content and the reaction of teachers to this kind of operations. Moreover, the study also suggests how some specific usages of Wikipedia at university level may change the current educational methods and contribute to strengthen collaboration in academic research.
